What you type stays in your browser
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our servers and are not stored.
Cookies
Law Figures does not set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. If that changes, this page will say which services we use, what they collect and how you can opt out, before they go live.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare's handling of that data is described in its privacy policy.
Your state
Some pages show options that depend on your U.S. state, such as courses or services offered only in some states. To pick them, our server asks Cloudflare for the state your connection comes from, which Cloudflare estimates from your IP address. We use that answer only to choose what the page shows; we don't log it, store it or share it, and we don't use it for advertising.
The state is kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. If you choose a state yourself, that choice is kept in your browser's local storage so pages remember it; you can change it on any page that shows it, or clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix what you reported. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your message. Please don't send details of your legal case: we're not a law firm, and an email to us isn't confidential.
Forms
The site has no forms that collect personal information. If we add one, this page will say what it collects, who receives it and how you can opt out, before it goes live.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email us to make a request. We don't sell or share personal information.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
